Dart is a coffee table constructed with resourcefulness in mind. It is made from a 4x4 piece of baltic birch plywood, the excess material was used to create a series of coasters to accompany the table. Because there were not enough tabs programmed to be put on the tabletop, it lifted during the CNC process. The router bit accidentally cut a diagonal line in the tabletop. I used this error as an opportunity to introduce some color and create a new motif within the piece and its companions.
